340B ACE Recertification Guide

Expiration Date for Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program

340B Apexus Certified Experts (ACEs) are required to pass a recertification exam every two years to maintain their active certification status.

To maintain active status, ACEs must pass the applicable recertification exam during their recertification window. If the exam is not passed by the end of that window, the ACE’s certification will become inactive, and access to the program modules and curriculum resources will end. To regain access, the learner must contact an Apexus administrator to request re-enrollment in the Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program and pay the full program fee: ($750 for covered entities or $1,250 for non-covered entities).

The instructions below outline two methods for identifying a 340B ACE’s certification expiration date and determining the applicable recertification window.

Identifying the 340B ACE’s expiration date:

Your certification expiration date follows a two-year cycle based on your original certification date. After you pass the recertification exam, your certification will remain active for another two-year cycle.

Method 1: 340B ACE Search Tool

This method can be used to find the 340B ACE expiration date for anyone who has completed the Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program.

1. Navigate to the 340B ACE Search Tool at www.apexus.com/FindAnACE.
2. Use the search bar to search by name under ACE search.
   
3. If the name entered is associated with a 340B ACE certification, a result should populate and the expiration date will be found under “Expires.”
   

Identifying a 340B ACE’s certification status:

Use the chart below to verify the meaning of a “Status” as identified in Method 1 using in the 340B ACE Search Tool.

Method 2: Apexus Education Portal Transcript

This method can be used to locate your own 340B ACE expiration date and print any current or past certificates.

1. Navigate to the Apexus Education Portal at https://education.apexus.com/#/login.
2. Log in using your email and password.
3. On the Apexus Education Portal dashboard, select the “Transcript” button to show your completed certificates and statements of completion.
   
4. If you have completed the Apexus Advanced 340B Certificate Program, the certificate information and any subsequent recertifications completed should populate under “Certificates.”
   
5. The current expiration date for your 340B ACE certification will be located under the “Expires” column of your most recent recertification exam (or under “Advanced Operations Certificate Program” if this is your first recertification cycle).
   
6. To download a copy of any of your certificates or statements of completion, select the “Download” button under the “View” column.

9/25/27		John Smith’s recertification window for Exam C will open on 8/1/27 and the recertification will need to be completed by 12/31/27.
12/28/27		John Smith’s recertification window for Exam C is currently open and the recertification needs to be completed by 12/31/27.
2/5/28		John Smith’s recertification window has passed and he will need to re-enroll in the program.
